A relatively small casino, the Genting Casino Leith is situated near a large set of leisure developments in the dock area of Leith, a district north of the city of Edinburgh. It is close to where the Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed and you are able to overlook the water whilst playing.

By car, follow signs for Leith, North Edinburgh and the Royal Yacht Britannia and you will find the casino has ample free parking. The nearest train station is Edinburgh Waverley which is just over two miles away though if you don’t fancy the walk the numbers 11, 22 and 35 buses also link the casino and the city centre. The casino is approximately a 40 minute drive from Edinburgh airport. Nearest hotels are the Holiday Inn Express Waterfront, the Malmaison and the Premier Inn although you could take your pick of hotels in the city centre which is a 10 minute drive away.
Live gaming starts at 5.00pm at the Leith casino where they play all the classic games at six American roulette tables, three blackjack tables, two three card poker table, one baccarat table and one mini baccarat table. Selected slot machines have a £10,000 jackpot and there are also two Fixed Odds Betting Terminals. The casino features blackjack aces where you are able to win big cash jackpots. Poker tournaments and cash games aren’t organised by the casino but you are able to hire a table for a private game - free of charge if you provide your own chips and cards. A dealer can be provided at a charge but advance notice must be given. Unusually, the casino also has four dart boards and two pool tables for its customers. The Genting Rewards Card allows you to earn points when used at the casino and is worth signing up to.
Every Tuesday at midnight the casino provides a complimentary traditional Chinese buffet and they have a Fahrenheit restaurant with a wide choice of dining options as well as a ‘Play and Graze’ menu for snacks. There is also a well stocked bar and you are able to watch your favourite sports on their big screens.
